Libertarian for NJ Assembly

Welcome to Patrick McKnight's site!

"To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.... We must make our choice between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude.... If we run into such debts, we must be taxed... in our necessities and our comforts, in our labors and in our amusements.... If we can prevent the Government from wasting the labors of the people, under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy." -Thomas Jefferson

Do our votes matter?

This is probably one of the most mind-boggling questions that many people find difficult to answer. Statistics show that about 150 million American citizens are qualified to vote. Many, however, have come to a firm decision not to vote. You may not know it, but there are many reasons you should.

To preserve our independence, the Libertarian party is knocking at your heart. We believe that every vote can make a huge difference. This is why staying at home on Election Day is not a good idea. Sure, taking a nap on a hammock, watching a sci-fi movie or going to the beach on that day is tempting, but you have to know that your vote can change the world around you.

Take time to stop and look around. Do you like what you see? Or do you think the society needs some change or improvement?

We will support all of your ideas and plans for this country. As the name suggests, the Libertarian Party always strives to fight for liberty.

What We Value

Our main goal is to dramatically reduce government spending, debt, and taxes. We no longer want to see many people suffering from the stress and exhaustion of financial problems. Like it or not, the world revolves around money. It can’t buy your happiness, but it can help you in many ways.

Libertarians work for small businessmen, farmers, taxpayers, workers, mothers, and other voters. We are not here for special interests or to gain rewards for ourselves. We are working to make our everyday lives happier and easier. We stand against any wrongdoings.

Have faith in politics, have faith in us! Together, we can make this country a better place.
